I have been running with Leigh Anne and a member of her Core class for ten years. She is the best coach! I had stopped running for many years due to some back issues but starting in Core, where I strengthened the muscles in my back, I was able to start running again. Through training with Leigh Anne, I have been progressing each year and just completed my second marathon with her as my coach – and achieved a personal best! While she groups us by level, Leigh is laser focused on each person’s abilities, injuries\/sensitivities, and goals and the training is still tailored for each of us. Leigh is also amazing at making us really feel like we belong to a big family even if we don’t all train together on all the same days. We have birthday toasts and end of season celebrations, and wherever anyone is racing, even if there are no other Get Fit ladies there, the group chat is filled with incredible support and encouragement so you know the whole team is with you. Leigh encourages and motivates all of us to be our best!<\/div>

I joined Get Fit Suisse just a few weeks after moving to Geneva in 2018. This group of dedicated women quickly became my lifeline here in a new country. We all have so much in common, yet are so different at the same time. Some of us are stay-at-home moms while others are working moms, some of our kids are grown and in college or already working while others are in postpartum recovery, some of us have just moved to Geneva while others have been here for decades. ALL of us are motivated, educated women who are looking to challenge ourselves and better ourselves both physically and mentally.
Our bond is so strong because several of us are ex-pats living in Geneva without family. We help each other navigate the challenges of motherhood, school & extracurriculars, and life abroad. Through the hundreds of kilometers of conversation we have become like family. Running is our meditation, our stress-relief, and the road is our safe place.
Leigh Anne’s energy and positivity are unmatched by any other person I’ve encountered in my life. She has helped me achieve goals I never imagined possible. She knows each runner’s abilities intimately, and understands exactly when to push us and when we have pushed ourselves too hard and need to recover. She makes each training session, race, and social gathering so much fun and this keeps you coming back for more.<\/div>
